Meet Coach Emmanuel Perez

I didn't just study the game — I lived it at the highest level.
At 14 years old, I left my family in Florida to pursue my dream of becoming a professional soccer player. I slept on a blow-up mattress in the basement of a frat house because it was the only way I could play for the New York Red Bulls Academy — they didn't have a residential program. That sacrifice set the tone for everything that followed.
Playing Career
I was a member of the 1998 US Youth National Team from U14 to U17, training and competing alongside players who are now some of the biggest names in American soccer — Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Tyler Adams, Haji Wright, and Luca De La Torre.
Before that, I played for Sunrise FC in Florida — one of the most dominant youth programs in the country's history. We won 4 consecutive State Championships, 3 straight Regional Championships, 2 Dallas Cups, and dominated the national league circuit.
From there, my career took me through some of the top academies and professional environments in the United States:
- FC Dallas Academy (U16) — Top goal scorer of my team, playing up an age group. Called up to train and scrimmage with the first team (MLS professionals). Coached by Josema Bazan, Oscar Pareja, and Luchi Gonzalez.
- Philadelphia Union Academy (U17-U18) — Top goal scorer both seasons despite battling injuries. Consistent first team call-ups for professional training and scrimmages. Played alongside Brenden Aaronson, Mark McKenzie, and Auston Trusty. Coached by Jeff Cook (former Penn State Head Coach) and Jim Curtain.
- Cal Poly SLO (2016-2021) — Team Captain from 2018-2021. Played under Steve Sampson, former US Men's National Team Head Coach, former LA Galaxy Head Coach, and former Costa Rica National Team Head Coach. I chose Cal Poly specifically to learn from Steve — spending countless hours studying game management, training methodology, and program building under one of the most decorated coaches in American soccer history.

What separates me from every other coach isn't a certification or a title — it's the environment I was forged in. Every single day, I was surrounded by the best players with the best habits, coached by professionals who demanded excellence in every detail. Attention to the smallest details and the highest possible work rate — on and off the field — became second nature.
I built The Ultimate Footballer because I know what it takes. Not in theory — from experience. I've been in the academy system. I've trained with professionals. I've competed at the national team level. And I've studied under coaches who managed World Cup campaigns.
My mission is simple: develop exceptional people who will become the next generation of professional and top college players in the country. Anyone who works with me will experience a level of commitment, attention to detail, intensity, and professionalism that they have never seen before.
This isn't just training. This is a complete performance system — body, mind, and career — built by someone who's been through it all.
